Reading & Radio Resource, working with Miller Consulting, Raises Funds for Project Analog to Digital
Reading & Radio Resource, working with Miller Consulting, recently received grants from The Dallas Foundation, the Constantin Foundation, the Harry W. Bass Foundation, and the Hillcrest Foundation in support of Project Analog to Digital.
Reading & Radio Resource also launched a statewide campaign for school “seed libraries” of recorded textbooks and literature. This campaign has received funding from The Moody Foundation of Galveston, the Tocker Foundation of Austin (in cooperation with the Yoakum City Library), the Swalm Foundation of Houston, and the Nelda C. and H. J. Lutcher Stark Foundation of Orange.
Reading & Radio Resource (formerly North Texas Taping for the Blind and Dyslexic) provides print materials, translated into audio form, to any child or adult with vision impairment or reading disability. Project Analog to Digital represents a major effort to transfer books and radio programming from analog recordings to digital recordings.
